BBS is looking for a few more experienced singers to join us for Winter/Spring 2012 season. BBS is a 75 voice community chorus that has been providing free concerts since 1998, under the music direction of Ellen Hoffman. BBS is a friendly inclusive chorus that welcomes people from all backgrounds and all ages.

Auditions will be held Thurs. Jan. 5, 7:15 to 9:00pm. If you're interested in auditioning, please be sure you are available for the following rehearsal and performance dates: Rehearsals begin Thurs. Jan. 12, and are 7:15 to 9:30pm. Concerts will be the last 2 weekends in April.

Reading music is helpful although not absolutely necessary. Having a good ear is very important. We're looking for a few experienced sopranos who can sing high, a few basses who can sing low; and a few altos, tenors and baritones who like to sing harmony.

If you're interested in auditioning, there's two ways to get information about audition location, what to prepare for your audition, etc. Send an email to singbroadway@yahoo.com. Or call 510.394.BBS1 & leave a message; you will receive a call back.
